TAÑSKI Józef [1805-1888] - Polish army officer, took part in the November Uprising. After leaving for France he joined the Foreign Legion, took part in battles in Algeria and Spain. Officer of the Legion of Honor and Commander of the Order of the Medjid (Ottoman Empire).
